Backing Your Data Up, Then Backing It Up Again

I needed a new hard drive and so I worked out a deal with my parents to let me use their hard drive to pass some data off, reformat mine, and then put it back on.

Everything was going swell, I passed off my music and movies, my ebooks, and some other things that were in a folder.

I just had one more folder that I remembered all day that I needed to transfer before formatting my drive.

Some more time passed, and I said, “oh hey, it’s ready.” And I hit Format.

I forgot to transfer over the last folder.

And I realized this after the format was over.

I’ve now spent the better part of my free time these last few days trying to find recovery software that will be able to find the files I lost and restore them in a usable state.

I’m finally having some success.

And this, ladies and gentlemen, is why we make sure to back up your data multiple times and in multiple locations.

Your Data Is Safe At JobNimbus

Unlike what just happened to me with my own files, you will never have to worry about losing your data that’s stored in JobNimbus.

We make a point to store your data immediately in several different secure databases at once.

These databases are built to replicate data and make sure nothing is only saved once in one area, so you can rest assured that even if an atomic bomb wipes out one of our data centers, your data will still be safe.

Piece of Data, Peace of Mind

Each piece of data that you add into JobNimbus is backed up and stored, even if you delete it (for a time).

Even if you delete a contact from JobNimbus or an email correspondence, you can contact us and we should be able to locate that for you and restore it to its previous state.

Our development team here has years of experience in server maintenance, hosting, and database management. We’ve been there, done that, and are ready for the next challenge.

But don’t go around deleting files just to test us 😉

Just understand that your data is in good hands here at JobNimbus.
